Berlitz Spanish Guaranteed (Berlitz Guaranteed) (English and Spanish Edition) ReviewI just bought this CD yesterday and I can't stand it!! I am going to be taking some lessons soon, and I wanted something to work on at home as well, and to get a head start.I was very dissapointed!! Within the first 5 minutes, they are asking you to repeat entire sentences! For someone who's never studied Spanish, how can you even attempt at a sentence when you've never had a chance to work on the words individually? Also, she doesn't even tell you what all the words are in the sentences. She says "please" many times, and it's not till far into the first CD that she tells you what it means. The section on numbers really annoyed me as well. I do know how to count a bit in Spanish, so I really feel sorry for someone who's had no prior knowledge. The lady on the CD counts to 22, and then tells you that the 20's, 30's, etc continue in a pattern, but NEVER actually counts the numbers 23-29, or 33-39. It's just awful! I am hoping that I can get my money back. I am also now on the lookout for a GOOD program.
