English for the Real World (ESL) ReviewOverall it's rather a good book. It contains 20 lessons, each of them consisting of 4 parts:
1.Dialogue
2.Words in action--Reviews some of the vocabularies heard in the dialogues, using them also in another sentences. Here you are invited to practice aloud after the native speakers. In this part you also have a section to practice the new vocabularies, filling in the blanks.
3.Take a closer look--In this part you will take a closer look at some of the structures or idioms you heard used in the dialogues, applied on other examples. Includes exercises, too.
4.Listening exercise--Here, first you will listen to the recorded sentences, after which you have to restate or rephrase them.
The grammatical questions are included in each lesson through the entire book. The level is for Intermediate/Advanced ESL learners.
