I was afraid to take the English 07 exam because I'd been out of school for 20 years. I took it in 2008, finally, and passed it without the use of this large volume, still unaware that it existed. There are some questions on the exam that require you to have read the actual literature, but most of them you can answer if you read the passages carefully and then use regular test strategies of logic and elimination to to answer the questions. Just take the exam and if you fail, you'll see better where you need to study.
