Colloquial Swedish (Colloquial Series) ReviewThe way the book is presented on amazon is very misleading. First it is offered with Colloquial Swedish (Colloquial Series (Book Only)) (Paperback) at the price of 68 $ and by being so you might thing it is workbook to the first ,offered with the cassettes and the Cd-s. This fact is reinforces when you read the product description: first 344pages, this one 288 pages. YOU are wrong. It is the same book in both cases the difference is that on the second package you receive the cd-s and cassettes, so if you fell for the trick and buy both for 68 $(thinking there are two different products from the same learning package) you would end like me: buying two,identical books. The reason I am not returning the first one is that shipping from Romania to USA is expensive and takes a lot of time so I will have to keep it or try to sell it.
Anyway this particular package priced ad 42$ is quite good and really helps you with your first steps in Swedish. There are 17 chapters focusing on the vocabulary you would need in various situations from day-to-day life: from introducing yourself to cooking, going on holiday, learning.In every chapter basic grammar issues or rules are discussed.
