Fitly Spoken: Developing Effective Communication and Social Skills ReviewI purchased this book at the recommendation of a friend who had read it. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but as I turned each page, I realized what an impact it was beginning to have on me.
This is not a typical communcations book! Pastor Greg Baker has a way of clearly defining what communication really is--and more importantly, just how critical EFFECTIVE communication is in every aspect of every human being's life. I've always believed that everything in the world can be solved with good communications, and Pastor Baker certainly solidified my beliefs with his well-written roadmap to effective communcations.
The author covers practically every topic in this book. From marriage to business to children and freinds! I've been able to apply several of his methods in many different areas of my life and I've seen some pretty amazing results already. From my personal relationships to some very important business relationships, I found the tools I needed to either improve an already great relationship or to patch up a broken one.
The thing I liked the most about this book is that the author wrote in clear, concise language and offered advice and solutions throughout the whole book. I really enjoyed this book and have already thanked my friend for a great recommended read. I guess she communicated very well on just how much she thought I could benefit from this book!! =)
