Their selection of saints is strange and often ludicrously deficient. One example is their omission Saint Benedict and Scholastica. Many great saints are simply omitted due to the absurd whims of the authors and their biographies have been butchered in an attempt to make them politically correct. If one is an uncritical new age "touchy-feely" type who samples religions like snobs sample expensive wine, one might appreciate this book. However, for an orthodox Catholic it is obnoxious and glaringly deficient. There are better books out there anyway.
